Things are moving at warp speed now in Atlanta, as the legislature will be adjourned for the year in just six days!
As we told you yesterday, Constitutional Carry passed the House Public Safety Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee after a massive amount of pressure from the members of GGO.
But before either version of Constitutional Carry (SB-319 and HB-1358) can receive a final vote, it needs to be approved by the Rules Committee — a vote that may take place today!
But we can’t take anything for granted.
Jeff Mullis chairs the Senate Rules Committee, and he is the Senator who slow-rolled SB-319 earlier this session for almost three weeks. And in the House, Speaker Ralston is angry at gun owners for forcing him to move our bill through Public Safety.
So please take 2 minutes and send the TWO PRE-WRITTEN EMAILS that we have prepared for you. As you’ll see, one goes to the House Rules Committee and the other goes to the Senate Rules Committee. Send these emails right away!
Take action right away, even if you sent emails yesterday. The House Rules Committee meets today and the Senate Rules Committee may hold an unscheduled meeting to vote on this bill.
Don’t let up. We’re on the verge of passing the biggest expansion of Second Amendment freedom in Georgia history, but we can’t rest until Brian Kemp signs this bill into law!
Georgia Gun Owners
P.S. After an explosive day in the Capitol yesterday, Constitutional Carry cleared two more committees. Now we need to pass two final committees before the bill can go to the floor.
Please send BOTH of the PRE-WRITTEN EMAILS that have been prepared for you right away. These committees may be voting on both versions of Constitutional Carry today, so take action fast!
Don’t delay! We’re closer than ever to finishing this fight and session ends in just six days. So fire off these emails immediately!
