If you missed our recent email, you might not know that while gun owners across the country are working to stop Joe Biden’s two primary gun control bills -– H.R. 8 and S. 736 -– multiple Republican Senators are stabbing us in the back.
Marco Rubio, a backstabbing sellout if there ever was one, recently filed S. 292, which would bribe state legislatures with federal dollars if they violate the Constitution and pass ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ at the state level!
Honestly, I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that Red Flag Rubio is trying to implement ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’ across America or that he’s trying to use our tax dollars to fund it!
Either way, it’s clear to many gun owners now that Marco Rubio is an enemy to the Second Amendment.
The danger here is clear: as Biden’s gun control bills face strong headwinds in the Senate, Chuck Schumer could look at S. 292 as the alternative gun control bill, and ram it through much easier since it has bi-partisan support!
Here in Georgia, it’s vital that Senators Warnock and Ossoff get the picture that supporting S. 292 is a great way to plunge their conference back into the minority in 2022!

Don’t forget, it was just two years ago when the Republican-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee held hearings on this identical bill.
And I have to tell you, it was disgusting watching Senate Republican after Senate Republican fawn over themselves to see who could support seizing our firearms first!
Gun owners can’t take ANY CHANCES here and we clearly can’t count on the 50 Republicans in the Senate to hold the line here, since it’s the Republicans who are pushing this bill!
That’s why its vital gun owners across the country flood the U.S. Senate with calls opposing this legislation before S. 292 builds momentum!

Fight Back Against Gun Confiscation!
After all, this legislation is much easier to support for sell-out Republicans looking to “make a deal” in Congress on a “common sense gun control bill.”
You see, they can pass Red Flag Rubio’s bill and tell gun owners that they didn’t technically pass ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ laws because this bill doesn’t force them on gun owners directly.
Instead, S. 292 pressures state legislatures to pass them, while offering the states tens of millions of dollars to make it happen! And with states facing contracting economies, turning down ‘free money’ from Uncle Rubio is going to be hard to do.
This is the kind of backroom dealing garbage that has harmed our gun rights in the U.S. and State Capitols across the country for decades — and it’s vital that we stop it NOW!

In many ways, these ‘Red Flag’ laws are worse than any of the gun control bill that we are fighting against in Congress at the moment. That’s because rather than target a certain kind of gun, S. 292 allows the government to seize all your guns.
Worse, these ‘Red Flag Gun Seizure’ laws allow a liberal judge to order the seizure of all of your firearms based on the word of an angry ex-spouse or family member that you’ve not seen in years, and before you’ve been convicted of a damn thing!
Not only that, when the judge hears the complaint, it will almost always be done ex-parte (in your absence,) meaning that you will not even know that your freedoms are in jeopardy until the cops are at your door to serve you with seizure papers!
And while the details of the various state’s ‘Red Flag’ laws differ, in many cases, the judge who issues the seizure order against you can reissue it a year later as his discretion.
In other words, this could amount to a lifetime gun ban if gun owners don’t rally together and stop this bill!

As we’ve told you for some time, Chuck Schumer needs 60 votes to put his crazy gun control bills on the floor for a vote, meaning there’s a real chance that we can defeat national gun registration and the ‘assault weapons ban’ if gun owners stand fast!
