Gun owners in Senate District 17 had two candidates vying for the GOP nomination in this race, and both of them surveyed 100% with Georgia Gun Owners.
But the incumbent in this race, Senator Brian Strickland, worked with GGO all last session to pass Constitutional Carry as the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
More than that, Brian Strickland worked with us and removed the ‘Red Flag’ language from Speaker Ralson’s mental health bill.
That’s why we are pleased to report to GGO members that Senator Strickland decisively won his primary tonight, meaning that he’ll likely be returning to the Senate for four more years!
