Georgia’s legislative session is in full swing — and Democrats smell blood in the water.

Every day that passes without House Speaker Jon Burns advancing pro-gun bills, the Left gets more aggressive.

Right now, they are going all-in on legislation to force Georgians to obtain civil liability insurance as a condition of buying a firearm.

That bill is HB-64 — and it’s one of the most dangerous attacks on gun ownership Georgia has ever seen.

Introduced by gun-grabber Mary Margaret Oliver, HB-64 would make it ILLEGAL to own many commonly owned firearms unless you fork over cash for a $1,000,000 insurance policy!

(Rep. Mary Margaret Oliver, a self-loathing crazed Democrat, is the lead sponsor of mandated insurance for gun owners in Georgia.)

Here’s what the bill says:

🔴 Mandates a $1 MILLION civil liability insurance policy, if
you own an “assault weapon,” you’ll be forced to carry this costly policy — or become a criminal under state law.

🔴 Defines “assault weapon” as a SEMI-AUTOMATIC rifle with a detachable magazine, that’s tens of thousands of rifles owned by law-abiding Georgians…labeled “assault weapons” overnight!

🔴 Requires you to “show your papers,” gun owners would have to produce proof of insurance on demand — or face penalties. Think about that: being forced to justify your rights to the government!

And what does this bill do to stop crime? Absolutely nothing.

It’s a direct assault on law-abiding gun owners like you — not the criminals who are robbing, raping, and murdering across our state.
