SB-163 is aimed squarely at those liberal cities in Georgia that keep ignoring our state’s preemption law and enact local gun control rules like they’re above the rest of us.
SB-163 says enough is enough and hits them with a hefty $50,000 civil penalty for breaking the law. That’s some real teeth to keep our rights safe!
SB-163 would prevent liberal Georgia cities from enacting their own gun control, and we just got it through the Senate!
This bill increases the civil penalties on our current preemption law, so if a city or county passed local (and illegal) gun control laws like Savannah is doing, we can sue them for $50,000!
