When the House passed President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” earlier this year, it included a major victory:

✅ Removing suppressors from the National Firearms Act (NFA)

But late last night, the U.S. Senate Finance Committee released their version of the bill — and it goes even further.

✅ It keeps the suppressor provision (Hearing Protection Act)
✅ And it ADDS the SHORT Act — removing short-barreled rifles (SBRs) and short-barreled shotguns (SBSs) from the NFA, too!

That means:

No more $200 tax stamps
No more ATF registration
No more red tape for law-abiding Americans

This is the kind of bold action you told us you want — and now we are dangerously close to achieving it.

But we can’t celebrate yet.

Jon Ossoff is up for re-election next year. If he sides with the gun control crowd and votes to strip these provisions, he’ll be sealing his fate at the ballot box.

Gun owners will remember.

This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to start dismantling the NFA — one of the most unconstitutional pieces of gun control in American history.
