Earlier this weekend, Senate Majority Leader John Thune officially said he will not overrule the Senate Parliamentarian — despite the fact that she unilaterally killed every pro-gun reform in the Senate’s Big Beautiful Bill.

That includes:

• Suppressor deregulation
• SBR and SBS deregulation
• And multiple other key Trump initiatives

All wiped out by Elizabeth MacDonough — an unelected staffer appointed by Democrat Harry Reid, now acting like a one-woman veto over the entire Republican majority.

And Thune? He just rolled over.

Let’s be real: Democrats would never tolerate this. If a Republican-appointed Parliamentarian blocked their agenda, they’d fire her before lunchtime.

But Republicans? They cling to “rules” while the Left wins by brute political will.

This is why we lose.

Gun owners gave Republicans the majority to fight — not to fold.
