Attorney General Chris Carr wants to be the next Governor of Georgia.

Predictably, and all of a sudden, he’s trying to look like a champion for the Second Amendment.

Just last week, Carr jumped into a lawsuit against the City of Savannah for passing a local gun control ordinance that punishes gun owners who leave firearms in their cars.

It’s a blatant violation of Georgia’s firearm preemption laws.

But here’s the truth Chris Carr doesn’t want you to know:

👉 Chris Carr did almost nothing to stop Savannah when this fight began over a year ago.

👉 While Savannah was targeting gun owners with illegal fines and criminal charges, Carr sat on the sidelines.

👉 And when GGO’s bill to fix this problem once and for all passed the Senate and almost cleared the House, Carr refused to speak out and support the bill.

Now that he’s running for Governor, he wants gun owners to believe he’s been with us the whole time.

But it gets worse…

While Carr is pretending to support the Second Amendment now, he just finished crushing a legal challenge to Georgia’s ban on concealed carry for adults under 21!

That’s right — Chris Carr fought to keep 18-, 19-, and 20-year-old Georgians disarmed, even if they’re law-abiding citizens with no criminal record.

And let’s be clear: he didn’t have to.

Attorneys General regularly refuse to defend laws that are unconstitutional — but Carr went all in. He backed the law. He defended it in court. And he won.

So if you see Chris Carr on the campaign trail, don’t fall for the act.

Ask Carr why he didn’t help us stop Savannah a year ago.
Ask Carr why he refused to support SB-163, to stop Savannah.
Ask Carr why he never filed suit against Joe Biden.
And ask Carr why gun owners should believe him now.
