Just yesterday, Susan Collins, one of the most anti-gun Republicans in the Senate, announced that she would be voting ‘NO’ on Chipman in response to massive pressure from gun owners across the country!
And our sources on Capitol Hill tell us that Senate Democrats –like Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff — are NERVOUS about having to vote for such a politically dangerous nominee.
They are concerned that advancing Chipman is going to damage them politically, and possibly cost their party their majority next year when gun owners get revenge at the ballot box.
So send this PRE-WRITTEN EMAIL to Warnock and Ossoff one more time, confirming their worst fears, telling them to oppose David Chipman at the direct of the ATF!
David Chipman has spent his entire adult life battling against the Second Amendment working for the ATF and Everytown for Gun Safety. His hatred for gun owners, for the Second Amendment, and for the people’s right to keep and bear arms is widely known.
But if he becomes the next director of the ATF, he’ll have almost unlimited power to terrorize law-abiding gun owners with ATF SWAT teams, which is all the ATF does these days.
Senate Democrats know this, and that’s why they are very concerned about advancing Chipman. And even if the Judiciary Committee does confirm him, YOUR pressure may block Chipman’s nomination from coming to the floor for a full vote!
So hammer down, and help us FLOOD the Capitol one more time with your opposition to this madman! David Chipman shouldn’t be a reserve deputy sheriff, let alone the Director of the most scandal-plagued agency in America, whose full-time purpose is attacking gun owners and working to crush the Second Amendment!
