BOOOM! Constitutional Carry Passed Rules Committee!

This is all because of YOU!

Just hours ago, Constitutional Carry, S.B.319, was FINALLY voted out of the Senate Rules Committee! This bill is now going to the full Senate floor for debate and is scheduled for a vote on Monday!

And this victory is purely because of you and the thousands of other gun owners across the state who have been hounding on the Senate Rules Committee to stop stalling and pass the bill on for a full floor vote!

If you’ve been following our Facebook Live videos online in the last 48 hours, you’ll know this only happened because of the work of the members of Georgia Gun Owners!

As you know, this bill had been stonewalled and blocked, set to die in the Rules Committee by inaction that had lasted for over 3 weeks!

Rules Committee Chairman Jeff Mullis was hoping he could get away with slow rolling this bill until session adjourned for the year — so he and his friends in Atlanta never had to cast an actual vote on the bill.

But folks, this is not GGO’s first rodeo. We knew what was happening, and we knew what needed to be done. We needed the legions of members of Georgia Gun Owners to take matters into their own hands and call up Senator Mullis and demand action.

In the last 48 hours, TENS OF THOUSANDS of gun owners have called and texted the Committee members, demanding action on Senate Bill 319!

The Senate Republican caucus exploded! We had Senators’ offices turning off their phones, we had others calling and begging us to stop exposing them.

And we also had Senators screaming and cursing at members of Georgia Gun Owners for daring to tell them what to do, as if they were our masters and not us theirs!

In the end, they knew they couldn’t hide any longer. So this afternoon, with whining and complaining and being called out, the Rules Committee passed S.B.319 — and it’s now slated for full Senate floor action on Monday.

But we can’t let up! So please, take a second now and send your PRE-WRITTEN email demanding that your Senator vote to pass S.B.319 on Monday.

We cannot stop for one second. The momentum with which we launch this bill out of the Senate will carry over into the House, and we have our work cut out for us there.

But if the legislators in that building have learned anything in the last 48 hours, it’s that the members of Georgia Gun Owners do not screw around, we will not be intimidated, we will not be told what to do, and we will remember in the primaries.

So please, send your PRE-WRITTEN email now, demanding your Senator vote to pass Constitutional Carry (S.B.319) with NO Amendments!

Georgia Gun Owners has been spending massive amounts of money these last few days to get this to happen. So when you’re done, help us keep up this fight as we get ready to pivot to the House.

Please chip in $5, $10, $1,000, or whatever you can afford, so that we can keep up this fight!

Days like this are what separates our members and organization from others in Georgia. Other groups like to wine and dine politicians, hoping to get what they want.

GGO doesn’t play that game. This week, the Rules Committee was reminded that GGO is willing to do whatever it takes in our fight for freedom!

Don’t let up!

For Freedom,

Aaron Dorr
Executive Director
Georgia Gun Owners

P.S. After stonewalling Constitutional Carry for 3 weeks in the Senate Rules Committee, the members of Georgia Gun Owners unloaded — flooding the committee with TENS OF THOUSANDS of calls and text messages demanding passage of SB-319!

That’s why the committee finally met today, after stonewalling this bill for 3 weeks, and voted to approve S.B.319. The bill is now headed to the Senate floor for a full vote THIS MONDAY!

But we can’t let up! You need to send a pre-written email right now to your State Senator to vote yes on Constitutional Carry on Monday!
